  The food is excellent! I had the pork schnitzel special with garlic mashed and roasted vegetables. The food was hot and out in, maybe, five minutes. The mushroom sauce was perfect! My homemade rice pudding was very good and had a generous amount of rice in it, unlike the commercial type. It was more like what I ate growing up.
  
  My neighbours had the 1/2 rack of ribs special, which was meaty and generous and they said it was very good.
  
  There is a small bar area.
  
  I would have preferred soft music versus the radio with the amount of people (quite busy). I will definitely be back, though; super friendly staff, the chef sat with me and described the specials, answered questions, etc., and checked in with me, as did my server.
  
  There is also local artwork available for purchase. :)
  
  I look forward to returning on a warm day when the outdoor patio is open.

  My friends and I went to eat at Angie's today. We were very impressed with the service. The lady serving us was friendly and informative and obviously believed in their product, food! There is a wide variety of home made food on the menu. It was difficult to make a decision. Delicious, delicious, delicious were the reviews from all three of us. Home made soup had no excess salt added. Sandwiches were fresh, fries were home cut. The edible taco bowl was very good too. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends.

  Stopped in on our way back from a long drive along the South Shore. Had a delicious meal of hot hamburg and fries. Was awesome!!! So much food that I could not finish. Excellent service. Will be back for sure.
